Horizon: Zero Dawn Guide: Where To Get Fish Bones And Scales

In Horizon: Zero Dawn, players must make sure that their gears and weapons are in the best condition. That is the reason why they are required to have several items such as fish bones and scales that can be used in crafting. Fortunately, the items' locations were revealed.

Where To Get All The Fish Bones And Scales In Horizon: Zero Dawn?

When playing Horizon: Zero Dawn, players must carry all the items they will need in their journey. That is why they need bigger inventories to hold different items. However, before they can carry all the stuff that they think are helpful, they must have fish bones and scales.

Of course, since fishes are found in bodies of water, they must head to two of the lakes in northwest of Mother's Heart in Horizon: Zero Dawn. According to Gear Nuke, they can farm both items in either of the lakes. Once they are at the lake, they must identify first the fish.

After identifying the fish, they must mark it by pressing the R3 button. Now, they can shoot the fishes one by one. Since the fishes are all dead, they can now retrieve the items they need for crafting. The bones are colored green while the scales are blue in color.

How To Craft The Fish Bones And Scales?

If the players wish to upgrade their pouch potions, then they need to have one fish bone, 20 pieces of Blaze, 100 pieces of Ridge-wood and 70 metal shards. After crafting those, the players can now have three additional pouches in their inventory.

Next, if they wish to upgrade their outfit satchel by three in Horizon: Zero Dawn, they must have two fish bones, 40 Ridge-wood and 75 metal shards. For adding four outfit satchel, they need to have one fish scale, 50 Ridge-wood and 125 metal shards, as per Game Pur

Lastly, if the players want to add two more sling ammo pouch, they need one fish bone, 20 metal shards and.50 metal shards. The fish bones and scales may seem useless but in Horizon: Zero Dawn, the players can use them for creating new items.
