Telltale Games' The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 3 Release Date Confirmed; Developer Discusses The Delay

After the countless number of rumors regarding the exact release date of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 3, it has just been confirmed recently. The Walking Dead Season 3 entitled A New Frontier will have its third episode released on March 28 for PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. Previously, Telltale Games both released the first two episodes of the series during the game's premiere. As a result, it leaves their players longing for a third episode since there are only small details regarding its final release date.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, the third episode's release date was revealed in a latest PAX exclusive trailer that was shown at the Telltale booth at PAX East 2017. The trailer was filled with action and was emotional at the same time. It shows how the main character, Javi, got to where he was since the start of Episode 3. Probably, showing to where he is headed during the episode's duration.

Currently, the trailer is only available in Stream, but a YouTube link might be available anytime soon. On the other hand, Telltale Games explained that the delay in the third episode's release is due to their unique development cycle. Furthermore, the company states that the team makes these episodes as the series is released. They modify and change the elements depending on how the players react to the story along with their choices.

Meanwhile, Telltale emphasizes that it does not mean that they are making these episodes up along the way. Instead, they have a separate path dedicated and alter it based on how the fans play the game. Though the way that the game's plot unfolds differs from player to player, it will still go down into one similar endgame. However, it still creates some controversies from players who expect the game to change itself in many ways possible.

Telltale Games' The Walking Dead is available on PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One and Android.
