The latest episode of “Dragon Ball Super” just came out and it reveals the outcome between Toppo and Goku’s anticipated fight. Toppo also hinted just how strong Jiren was. After the fight, Goku panics as he scurries to recruit the best fighters to represent Universe 7 in the Tournament of Power.
Toppo Warns Goku About Jiren’s Strength
“Dragon Ball Super” episode 82 finally featured the awaited match between Universe 7’s Goku and Universe 11’s Toppo and the fight was not disappointing. Toppo challenged Goku to a fight, calling out for justice because the Tournament of Power was Goku’s idea. The Grand Priest allowed the match, making it an opportunity for all the participating universes to see Goku and Toppo’s abilities.
Despite his huge physique, Toppo was actually quick and nimble and he was able to easily defeat Goku in his first Super Saiyan form. Toppo’s strength and skills became at par with Goku when the latter turned into Super Saiyan Blue, forcing the Grand Priest to stop the fight because it would be a loss to have both strong fighters die even before the Tournament of Power begins. Just after the match, Toppo tells Goku that if that was already his best, then he will be no match for his friend, Jiren, who is more powerful than Toppo.
Universe 7 Panics As Tournament Of Power Approaches
As soon as the match was stopped, the Grand Priest gave everyone 40 hours to find their best warriors to represent their respective universes. The arena, World of Void, where the Tournament of Power will take place is still being set up as revealed in the Universe Survival Arc of "Dragon Ball Super". Team Universe 7 convenes and Beerus rages over how every universe will be out to kill Goku first during the tournament.
Beerus even resorted to asking Whis to bribe his father, the Grand Priest, to get them out of the Tournament of Power but the latter declined. The team is worried because Goku himself had a hard time against Universe 11’s second-best warrior. Goku told them not to worry because they still have Gohan, who will be able to fight even those stronger than them and that they will find Universe 7's best fighter.
