The latest NFL trade rumors indicate that the Mychal Rivera may sign up with the New York Jets. Peter Schrager from Fox Sports reported that the Jets will bring in Rivera for a free-agent visit. This will be good for this talented tight end since his services were not used much by the Raiders.
Rivera May Play With The New York Jets
Rivera was picked by the Raiders in the 2013 NFL sixth round draft. The tight end started strong as a rookie and backup to Jeron Mastrud. He continued his impressive performance during the following season. However, his performance and subsequently, his time on the field went down during the third season. The Raiders didn't give him much game time either during the last season sparking NFL trade rumors that he will be sent off to another team.
On the other hand, the Jets' John Morton is a tight ends coach. Some pundits say that the team will have a new offensive direction and will include tight ends to their game. This led to NFL trade rumors that Rivera will be more productive with the Jets. He has proven that his production in his first two seasons with the Raiders was not a fluke. His talents and skills can be used productively by the Jets.
Why Are The Dallas Cowboys Re-Signing Kellen Moore?
Meanwhile, it seems Kellen Moore is also being involved in a number of NFL trade rumors connected with the Dallas Cowboys. Apparently, Jerry Jones is looking for backup quarterback support for Dak Prescott. It appears that Moore is the man he is looking for. That could mean the Cowboys are now willing to re-sign Moore.
Moore stayed with the Detroit Lions for three seasons although he didn't play even a single game. He played three games with the Cowboys in 2015, but only because Tony Rono was then injured. However, he was able to give the team four touchdowns, six interceptions, and 779 yards. NFL trade rumors suggest that the Cowboys are re-signing him for his skills as a veteran quarterback.
