The latest episode of “Dragon Ball Super” left off teasing what might happen to Goku during the tournament. The episode hinted Goku exceeding the limits of his power. Meanwhile, a theory of the old universe and gods of destructions being resurrected is being raised.
Goku Turns Into Super Saiyan X
In “Dragon Ball Super” Episode 82, the fight between Toppo and Goku was featured, revealing the abilities of each fighter. During that fight, Goku was having a hard time at first but then he transformed into one of his early Super Saiyan forms and he was able to withstand Toppo’s attacks. But during the fight, Goku revealed that he was about to show Toppo how it was once Goku has passed the limits of his powers.
This was a turning point for the match, forcing the Grand Priest to stop it before things went out of hand. This is because the Grand Priest himself saw that Goku was hiding immense power that could lead to Toppo’s death. Fans have dubbed Goku's new form to be an evil and dark form because Goku smiles when he revealed he can surpass his limits, showing that no one is a threat to him, even Toppo.
His new transformation, as hinted by the new anime series’ opening sequence titled “Limit X Breaker”, has been called Super Saiyan X by fans. Fans are predicting that Goku’s new Super Saiyan X is a multiplied version of Kaio-ken or even a perfected form of the said technique. It is most likely that this new power will be revealed when Goku goes against Jiren and is pushed into the corner to surpass his limits so he can defeat Universe 11’s strongest warrior.
Universe 7 To Resurrect All Erased Universes?
There is a feasible theory going around lately about predictions pertaining to how “Dragon Ball Super” Universe Survival Arc ends. It started with Zen-Oh, the Omni-King, inviting fighters from twelve universes to participate in the Tournament of Power, which will take place in the World of Void. It was promoted then that the winner will be rewarded with Super Dragon Balls but people might have forgotten about that since the tables were turned when it was announced that the tournament was actually a battle for survival.
With the Tournament of Power planned to have one universe winning and the rest getting erased, Universe 7 is predicted to win and obtain the Super Dragon Balls. Goku, who leads Team Universe 7 may wish for the resurrection of the destroyed universes, which will most likely also include Universes 13 to 18 that the Omni King destroyed out of anger. If this happens, this would mean more stories to explore and the return of the old gods of destruction and Goku will be heralded a hero instead of a villain by multiple universes for saving them.
