"Fuller House" star Jodie Sweetin's ex-fiancé Justin Hodak has been arrested for getting "too close" to her. Hodak apparently violated a court order that instructed him to stay at least 100 yards away from Jodie. The ex-fiancé was reportedly arrested in Sherman Oaks, CA on Monday.
Jodie claims in the legal documents that she had a "nuclear fight" with her partner, whose anger was triggered by alcohol and steroids. According to her, it was the fight on Friday that ended their engagement. She also claims that Hodak had threatened to commit suicide with a 9mm pistol, in case she forced him to leave.
According to TMZ, Jodie obtained a restraining order to keep Hodak at least 100 years away from her. However, she called police on Monday after a suspicious car was seen in front of her house. Police arrived to find Hodak only a few feet from Jodie's house. The officers stopped the car he was driving and arrested him for violating the court order.
The 35-year-old actress earlier gave a statement and confirmed her split with Hodak. "We can confirm that actress Jodie Sweetin and her fiancé Justin Hodak have ended their relationship," the statement said. "She appreciates everyone's understanding for their need for privacy at this time."
Jodie dated Hodak for two years and got engaged in January 2016. The actress was often seen at red carpet events with her fiancé. She has been married thrice. She has an 8-year-old daughter Zoi with her first husband Cody Herpin. Her second marriage was with Shaun Holguin. After one year of marriage, she separated from Morty Coyle, her third husband, in 2013. Their divorce was finalized in August 2016.
Jodie is a former drug addict. Hodak, on the other hand, served nine months in a California jail in 1999 on "drug and stolen property charges," Radar Online reported earlier.
