Google Pixel And Pixel XL Automated Bug-fixing Update Fails To Resolve Issues

Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL users have reportedly started experiencing Bluetooth problems ever since the company released the February Android security patch. The problem generally revolves around the automatic disabling of the phones' Bluetooth connection. Nevertheless, Google has already acknowledged the problem and the company has already released a fixing update to the Google Pixel and Pixel XL phones. In fact, Google has made the update automatic so users no longer need to download anything to get the supposed fix. The only problem is that the newly released update doesn't seem to resolve the Bluetooth issue of the Google Pixel series.

Basing on the reactions posted on Google's forum page, it appears that the Bluetooth connectivity issue on the Pixel and Pixel XL haven't been put to rest just yet. In fact, some users have even seen the issue change in nature, Phone Arena reported. In the past, the problem was that the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL had their Bluetooth connection disabled at random times. Now, there are people who complain about their Bluetooth being disconnected even if the option has not been disabled. One user said that his/her Bluetooth does not disable at random but it disconnects from his/her smartwatch and stays that way.

Google is yet to issue a public statement regarding the unsuccessful system update that it had sent out to Pixel and Pixel XL users. The company's forum page is currently filled with complaints coming from people who have been dependent on Bluetooth connectivity on a daily basis. These people are mostly annoyed with the supposed bug and there are some who even showed interest in changing smartphones.

There are also people with positive feedback including one that said his/her Bluetooth has been on for the last day, making him/her cautiously optimistic. Nevertheless, as a whole, the Pixel User Community forum is practically loaded with rants from people whose Pixel or Pixel XL phone remained problematic despite the supposed Google fix.
