Samsung has now officially confirmed the Galaxy S8 release date, April 21st for the US, and April 28th for the rest of the world. Samsung made a refreshing new design, enhanced experience and more. There's a lot to love about the Galaxy S8.
The Infinity Design
The Infinity Display, not only are the top and bottom bezels of both the 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch devices extremely small, the bezel-less, takes up to 80 percent of the device's front screen - that means half-a-million pixels more to sharpen up your view.
Powerful Processors
The American variants of the handset will come with the octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC, while the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Asia) regions will see the Galaxy S8 with the Exynos 8895 chipset on board. Also, there's 4GB of RAM in the Galaxy S8. As mentioned, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is running Android Nougat, with the latest version of the operating system offering useful features like the Google Assistant.
A Useful AI Assistant, Bixby
The virtual assistant is conceptually different to its rivals like Google Assistant, Apple's Siri and Microsoft's Cortana. Bixby Vision is an image searching tool, much like Google Now on Tap, but Samsung's own touch.
Accessories and Enhanced Experience
Samsung S8 pre-orders will ship with a free Gear VR and Oculus-powered controller, and surely Samsung would throw in some content too. The combo is worth $129. More so, Samsung has bundled high-performance earphones tuned by AKG by Harman, suggesting to offer unbeatable sound quality as an in-box accessory. Additionally, there's also Dex and Connect for superb user experience.
Stunning Cameras Comes With New Features
The 12MP sensor on the back is still one of the best around, bringing speedy snaps and great performance in low light. Samsung has added in something called multi-frame image, which takes three snaps and finds the sharpest. Whereas the front-facing camera has been boosted to 8MP, and there's also a fun new effects button which users can use, a wide range of augmented reality makeovers.
