If players want to play another mobile game, then they should definitely wait for Square Enix' SINoALICE. The developer revealed that a crossover event would happen together with Platinum Games' NieR Automata.
SINoALICE and NieR Automata's crossover event was made possible because the director, Yoko Taro, and composer, Keiichi Okabe, are both involved in the two games, according to Siliconera. It means that the musical score of the mobile game will be as good as Platinum Games' RPG.
Players will actually be able to play a scene written by Taro in SINoALICE. It will involve Beauvoir boss seen on NieR Automata's Abandoned Amusement Park. The director wants to bring the world of the latter to former so players can see what makes it so exciting,
This could either be a marketing strategy or just simply, Taro is proud with NieR Automata. Other than a special scene, SINoALICE players will be able to encounter some familiar faces in Platinum Games' latest RPG such as 2B, 9S, A2, and Emil.
If players wish to see some weapons from NieR Automata, then their wish is also granted. As per Twinfinite, some familiar weapons will be played in SINoALICE. What makes it more interesting is that the weapons will have their backstories featured in the mobile game.
It seems that Taro has all the time in the world to create SINoALICE for mobile phones. The game will be available in springtime in Japan. However, there are no announcement from Square Enix if the game will be available on the west side of the world.
Players may have to wait if they will be able to enjoy SINoALICE just like NieR Automata stateside. Nevertheless, since the mobile game is not yet out, there is still hope. Hopefully, Square Enix will release more details about the upcoming RPG mobile game soon.
