Overwatch emotes have a unique feature that takes place when players die mid-animation and when Mercy uses her ultimate ability. Meanwhile, the Terry Crews Doomfist hype seems to have died after one of his recent announcements.
Overwatch Emote Continues After Death
The various animations in Blizzard's first-person shooter game are a great way for players to express themselves while showing off each character's personality. The only drawback is that they cannot move during the animation and are vulnerable to attacks. Because of this, players usually only use this feature during safe situations like in the spawn room or after a successful team kill.
Even so, some reckless players still die due to using the animation at a wrong time or using it by mistake. Thus, they die in mid-animation, but Redditor Brehmstorm shared that if a Mercy uses her ult right after their death, they will still continue the animation. This time, characters can finish their actions without fear of dying again thanks to the invulnerability buff.
Terry Crews Denies Blizzard-Related Announcement At E3
That aside, PVP Live reports that Crews' visit to E3 is not related to Blizzard's game. Despite the recent hype surrounding a possible Doomfist. The actor himself responded to a question from a fan posted on one of his Instagram posts regarding interior design.
Even so, there is still a chance that the actor will still portray the highly-anticipated hero as he and Blizzard have seemingly been keeping close contact with each other judging by their various interactions in the past. Even so, fans should not expect any further updates about his involvement in the game anytime soon.
Until then, fans can enjoy the latest omnic hero, Orisa, who joined the game around only a month ago. It is worth noting that the game's anniversary is coming up soon and there may be a chance Blizzard might have a special announcement in store. Fans can play Overwatch on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
