Here's How To Acquire D.Va's New Skin In Overwatch

This has been said before, from articles to articles: Overwatch triumphs in offering exciting skins and items. To think, acquiring them is quite easy and players will not necessarily have to spend a ridiculous amount of money. However, not all skins in the game are that easy to own. Some will require a task, albeit not rigorous, in order to unlock one. This is exactly what Blizzard plans to do with D.Va's newest skin.

According to GameSpot, the studio is set to release a new event called Nexus Challenge 2.0 in Heroes of the Storm. Apparently, joining this event will result to getting an Overwatch skin for the aforementioned hero. The skin is called Officer D.Va, and it's really, really beautiful.

In its most organic form, D.Va's newest Overwatch skin reimagines the young pilot as a, well, Korean police officer. It comes with a complete police cruiser-inspired makeover, totally perfect for her mech. Apart from this, players also have the chance of acquiring a couple of sprays and icons based on the aforesaid skin. However, as mentioned, all of these can be obtained if, and only if, they play Heroes of the Storm.

It is worth noting that Blizzard did the same thing for Genji's Oni Overwatch skin before. For players to acquire it, they were asked to play Heroes of the Storm with their friends. Now, the studio is once again doing it. Polygon reports that this is the studio's way of bringing a following to HoTS. That the video game company is once again making an appeal to OW players, which currently has a player pool count of more than 25 million.

The Heroes of the Storm Nexus Challenge 2.0 event will run for four weeks (a month basically.) Players will have to play at least five games per week with a friend in the quick match, ranked and/or unranked modes. This way, they will be able to secure some special loots. Aside from the Officer D.Va Overwatch skin, the developers will also be making Genji's Oni skin available once again.
