Injustice 2 Leak Reveals Joker Returning To The Fray

A new Injustice 2 leak features a Joker teaser hinting that the clown prince of crime will be mysteriously making his way back to the game. Meanwhile, Darkseid has gotten a new trailer that shows off his impressive skills.

According to Comic Book Movie, there might have been leaked footage of the latest character to join the Injustice roster. Despite his unfortunate accident in the past game, Joker seems to be returning to cause more mayhem for the current cast. In line with this, NetherRealm claimed that it would be revealing the latest character on April 28 so the leak ties in with the upcoming announcement.

The short Joker teaser features the villain fighting the Flash. Judging by his moves, it seems like he retains most of his attacks from the previous game. The clown prince of crime has even gotten a new appearance as he sports a long black coat with a wilder hairstyle. While the leak itself looks convincing enough, fans will still have to wait for further news from NetherRealm.

That aside, CBR shares that NetherRealm has shared an official video highlighting Darkseid. This DLC character will only be available to players who pre-order the game's Ultimate Edition. The two-minute clip shows off his impressive skills like having the ability to fire tricky lasers and teleport around the area.

The upcoming Injustice sequel takes place after the first game with Batman and his allies trying to piece back society together. Unfortunately, there are those who want to restore Superman's regime along with a new threat that threatens Earth's very existence. It is still unsure to which side the Joker would take but it seems like he has yet to move on from his criminal acts.

Injustice 2 includes familiar characters like Batman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn and Aquaman while introducing new faces like Brainiac, Gorilla Grodd, and Poison Ivy. The game is scheduled for release on May 16 on the PS4 and Xbox One.
