Apple will likely only preview iOS 7 at WWDC 2013 and roll out new hardware when it releases the next version of iOS in the fall. The next iPhone is very likely to be the iPhone 5S and the latest rumor claim the smartphone being upgraded with a "Retina 2 Display" and a more iPad mini-like bezel.
According to Weiphone , the iPhone 5S will feature a new Retina 2 Display with 1.5 million pixels, doubling the current 730,000 pixels found on the iPhone 5. The iPhone 5S will also follow Apple's current design trend that began with the iPad mini, a thinner bezel around the display. The upcoming iPad 5 has also been tipped to debut with the iPad mini's narrower bezel.
The iPhone 5S is expected to keep the same 4-inch display that is currently found on the iPhone 5. Apple has been rumored to be working on an updated Retina Display since the display of some current Android smartphones have surpassed Retina status. A new rumor about future iPads claims we will see an iPad Maxi with a 12.5-inch display. According to sources, Apple plans on creating a new member in the iPad family with the iPad Maxi. The rumored iPad Maxi will be directed at the education market. The iPad Maxi will be introduced as the perfect display for children to read digital textbooks on. It sounds like the 9.7-inch display found on the iPad is just too small for children, if this report is to be believed.
