Rolls-Royce Motor company has taken the wraps off a special one-off "Sweptail" bespoke car. According to a recent report, the one-off coupe was specially designed for a specific customer who likely has boundless amounts of cash. The Rolls-Royce Sweptail could be the most expensive new car ever sold.
Rolls-Royce cars are typically the last name in bespoke automotive luxury, however, the super rich customer requested the British car marque to make a one-off bespoke motor car using his own idea. The result is the Rolls-Royce Sweptail that was revealed on at the Concorso d'Eleganza at Villa d'Este last May 27.
Meanwhile, the Rolls-Royce Sweptail is not just another custom car and has seen some superb levels of luxury. A reported price tag of around $12.8 million supports its grand details. According to a source, it's the most expensive new car, aside auctions or privately sold cars which are ever sold, and would sound about fair for the average price of Bugatti Chiron slots in at just below $3 million.
The Rolls-Royce Sweptail features only two seats, and its interior was crafted with minimalism, buttons and dials are tucked out of sight to keep the cabin uncluttered. It also has the Pantheon-inspired grille is pressed from solid aluminiumHand-trimmed in moccasin and dark spice-coloured leather as well as polished ebony and open-pore paldao veneers. The interior also comes with a clock made from wood thin enough to be backlit.
Bespoke carbon fiber luggage which includes a dedicated laptop holder and the prod of a button reveals a chilled champagne bottle and special flutes. As such, the British marque has not revealed drivetrain details yet, however, the brand's existing V8 and V12 motors would deliver sufficient momentum for the Sweptail.
