Xiaomi has released a newly upgraded variant of its Mi Notebook Air 13.3 and comes with new features. The Mi Note Air was first announced in August last year in China and it came as a real rival for the Apple iPad Air with a premium design and equally impressive hardware bench.
The new Mi Notebook Air comes with a wide range of new features. According to a source, the new 13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air is just an upgrade to last year's 13.3-inch Notebook and is also touted as a tough competitor for the Apple iPad Air.
Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air features a new version with 4G LTE modem and powered by seventh-gen Intel Core M3 processor. By including the 7th gen Intel Core i7 processor, Xiaomi delivers nearly 12 percent improvement in performance in comparison to the previous 6th generation Core M3. The Notebook, in terms of specifications, comes equipped with a 13.3-inch screen and as aforementioned, is powered by a more powerful 7th gen Intel Core i7 processor clocked at 3.0GHz.
In addition to the new upgrade is the fingerprint recognition technology and it is added to the upper right corner of the trackpad. Moreover, the processor is equipped with a massive 8GB DDR4 memory and the laptop also features a 128GB and 256GB PCIe SSD hard drive variants which are expandable. More so, it also features custom AKG speakers like the previous models.
The new version has a built-in NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphic card with up to 2GB GDDR5 new memory standard as against the previous model with a NVIDIA GeForce 940MX and just 1GB GDDR5 new memory standard. Furthermore, the Intel Core i5 model offers 128GB of storage and is priced at $737 in China, while the variant with 256GB of storage costs $810.
