Apple's CEO Tim Cook recently hinted that the new MacBook Pro 2016 might soon be launched. Reports claimed that Cook replied to the mail sent by an Apple lover to inquire about the future of the Mac series and gave some teasers that the release date will happen before the year ends. 

According to Cook

"I love the Mac and we are very committed to it," wrote the Apple CEO, as reported by Mac Rumors. "Stay tuned."

On the premise of the mentioned statement, rumors suggested that the new MacBook Pro 2016 will be released at the company's technical event in October. However, there is no official information about the release date of the new MacBook device.

Biggest Features of the Macbook Pro

Aside from the release date reports, BGR expressed that the upcoming Apple device will have a slimmer and lighter chassis compared its forerunners. It is also expected to be launched with an OLED Touch bar instead of function keys above the keyboard.

Furthermore, reports claimed that the new MacBook Pro 2016 will consist of a trackpad with a fingerprint scanner in order to provide the users with added security features. It is touted that the latest Apple gadget will also feature a high-resolution 5K display panel to provide the users with enhanced graphics performance.

The MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to consist of Intel's upcoming Kaby Lake chipset, AMD's most recent Polaris 11 graphics silicon chips, which is rumored to make the Apple device even thinner as that of its earlier installments.

In terms of programming specs, the new laptop is expected to run on the upgraded macOS Sierra software, which will introduce new components to the Apple device like the personal assistant Siri and Apple Pencil-compatible trackpad. Also, the new Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is rumored to consist of a USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3 function for facilitating the users with faster data transfers and charging, reported Bloomberg.
