Apple industrial designer teased a possible change to the orientation of logo on iPad after some users questioned the upside-down presentation of it in a case.
Molly Anderson, an Apple designer, shared that the logo could change in the future, citing that the vertical logo will not stay like that forever.

Apple Might Tweak Logo Orientation for Next Models
During the interview, Anderson revealed that more people have been using iPads in landscape mode in recent years. Regardless, the device can still be used in all directions.
Apple might be on its way to implementing this change as the company gradually transitioned to a landscape front camera for the latest iPad. The first landscape camera was introduced in 2022 for the 10th-generation iPad.
The most recent lineup of iPad including the M2 Air and M4 Pro both have a landscape orientation, hinting at Apple's current trajectory. The company also defended its decision to move the front camera, stating that it is the most optimal way for users who will use it for apps like FaceTime and Zoom.
Apple Promotes Major Upgrades on Latest iPad Pro, Air
Earlier this month, Apple launched its next-generation iPad Pro, iPad Air, Apple Pencil Pro, and Magic Keyboard. The new iPad Pro comes in 13-inch and 11-inch models with a Tandem OLED display and M4 chip.
As for the iPad Air, the device got upgraded performance with an M2 chip. The iPad also known comes in a bigger display size of 12.9 inches while maintaining a light weight.
The company also released a new Apple Pencil Pro that is equipped with a new sensor that responds to squeeze. The new Magic Keyboard comes with a function row and a more responsive trackpad while boasting a thinner design.
It hasn't been a month since the new iPad lineup was released. There is a big chance that Apple is still working its way to change the logo orientation for the next models.
