An anonymous leaker shared new rumors behind the Nintendo Switch 2 on the Chinese forum Famiiboards, claiming that the upcoming console will get new Joy-Con color options alongside it. According to the rumors, a white and black colorway can be expected.

While white has been seen on the Switch OLED, black is a never-before-seen color for the detachable controllers.

According to ComicBook Gaming, the translation was unclear, and it remains unknown if Nintendo will release a white and black Joy-Con combo, or if it will have these colorways separate.

Switch 2 Price Revealed, Production Began

Further leaks earlier this month claimed that Nintendo will be selling the Switch 2 at $400. This amount is $50 more than the previous Switch V1, Switch V2, and Switch OLED versions when they came out.

In a separate rumor, it has also been speculated that Nintendo has already started production for the Switch 2. The rumor even suggests that the release date for the console is nearing, and it won't be long before Nintendo officially announces the arrival of the console.

What to Expect From Nintendo Switch 2

Analysts, insiders, and speculators have shared bountiful information about the Nintendo Switch 2 over the past years, and to this day, these have all remained as rumors as the Japanese gaming company has yet to officially say anything about the console. Many leaks have claimed that they are aware of its development, but it remains a massive secret on Nintendo's side.

Each Direct event from Nintendo this year was speculated to have a Switch 2 reveal, but even its name remains unconfirmed.

Different details have surfaced online regarding the Switch 2 with some claiming that it will be a dual-screen device similar to the Nintendo DS. Other speculators have claimed that it will feature a new T239 chipset to power it.

Unlike the original Switch's release in 2017, this new device will said to have two models upon launch with one accepting physical Switch game cards, and the other being exclusive to digital game copies.

All of these details regarding the Switch 2 remain as rumors, as Nintendo is yet to reveal official details behind it.
