People in Lebanon are now afraid of everyday devices people cannot live without these days, particularly ones you use to communicate. This comes after two successful blasts have rocked the Asian nation involving pagers and walkie-talkies belonging to members of Hezbollah.
The pager blast killed 16 members of Hezbollah, while the walkie-talkie blast killed at least 20 people as of press time. Iran's ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, are among those injured in the pager attack.

Everyday Devices are Now Feared
In an interview with CNN, Los Angeles Times Middle East Bureau Chief Nabih Bulos said that people in Lebanon are now afraid of everyday devices in the wake of the two attacks.
"Just to give you a sense of the rumors we've been hearing, there are all these messages circulating for people telling people to shut off their wi-fi routers or take out batteries from certain devices," Bulos said in the interview.
"There really is a fear of the normal items you have at home," Bulos added.

Pager, Walkie-Talkie Blasts Target Hezbollah Members
The twin deadly attacks began Tuesday after hundreds of pagers owned by Hezbollah members suddenly exploded simultaneously. According to a report, these pagers are new and were just purchased in recent months.
This attack was followed by another one the next day, which targeted walkie-talkies this time around. Both attacks have been blamed on Israel, and there are now fears that a third attack will take place on Thursday.
Israel has refused to publicly comment on both attacks. However, Hezbollah has already pledged to retaliate.
