The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) With 8-inch And 2GB RAM Spotted At FCC

In a recent report, The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has been approved by FCC with revelations on the design and specifications of the device. The new version of Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is an unannounced device as Samsung hasn't revealed anything yet about the device.

Going by the GFXBench listing, the Samsung SM-T350 will come and be powered by a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset clocked at 1.4GHz. Storage-wise, it will be backed up with 2GB of RAM and will come with 16GB of native storage space. Although the new leak doesn't reveal complete specs of the device yet, it shows the renders of the device in detail.

Similar to its predecessor, the upcoming Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) will feature an 8-inch HD display with the resolution of 1280×800 pixels. Other than that, the reported Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is said to sport an 8MP primary snapper on the rear as well as a 5MP front-facing camera for snapper for selfies and video calls. Recently, there has been two model numbers associated with this device, the SM-T380, and the SM-T385, reported by Android Headlines.The LTE version leaked and it confirms the existence of the LTE version. The Wi-Fi only version has leaked a few months ago already.

The only other noticeable factor from the previous listing is that the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) will come running on Android Nougat 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Unfortunately, the benchmark listing has not revealed the battery details of the device, according to Gizbot.

Furthermore, it is being speculated that the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) will be announced during the IFA this year, which will happen in September.
