"Mario Kart 8 Deluxe," based on the "Mario Kart 8," introduces an entirety of new playable characters and new tracks. One of the biggest changes is that the game released itself along with all the DLC content of its predecessor and more.

'Mario Kart 8 Deluxe': New Courses and Tracks
For reference, the entire franchise came from different platforms such as the Wii, Gameboy, Android, and many more. During the release of "Mario Kart 8," it became the best-selling Wii game of its time. In the recent years, it eventually changed its platform from the Wii to the Nintendo Switch.
Note that each of these games came out with their own unique tracks, and all of them are coming to "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe." Gamers can look forward to new tracks that received a unique twist. Players can now experience the anti-gravity mechanic on particular tracks.

Fans interested in the entire pack can buy it at a price of $24.99.

Fans React: Pros and Cons
With the addition of these DLCs upgrades, gamers can look forward to an immersive experience in "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe." Many fans are excited to see their favorite tracks and courses with newer graphics.
However, some displeased fans point out that the new tracks look similar to "Mario Kart Tour app." This is a free spin-off of the franchise released solely for Android in 2019.
Twitter fan JOLLY J pointed out that the DLC looks completely different from the original game.
MercyKnifed describes the art style as "smooth and rubbery" in contrast to the more realistic graphic style of the original game.
With the current success of the "Mario Kart 8" and the confirmed works of additional DLC, fans start to speculate that next sequel to this series may not come any time soon. Some claim that the DLC is more of a way to tell all the fans to wait longer because its sequel is still being developed.
Up to date, there is not much official information about "Mario Kart 9." Hopefully, updates might drop for the game later this year.
