Samsung Galaxy A33 Leaks and Rumors: How To Watch Samsung 'Awesome' Galaxy A Event

Samsung is launching mid-range A-series devices at the new Samsung Awesome Galaxy A Event happening March 17.

Samsung Leaks for A-Series

Samsung just recently launched its Unpacked event last month unveiling its Galaxy S22 phones and Tab S8 tablets. But the company is not just producing high-end products this year, it will also be releasing its mid-range products on top of its high-end lineup.

Samsung is launching another Awesome Galaxy Event tomorrow, presenting a more mid-range and budget-friendly Samsung Galaxy phone. Although Samsung did not state in detail what device they will be launching, it has been leaked numerous online that the tech giant will reveal an A-series phone.

Last week, Samsung started sending virtual invites for its launch today, March 17. These rumors are also backed by the digital art Samsung has sent in its invitation that includes a visible number of "A" repeated multiple times.

Here in the U.S., Samsung's A-series models include the A03, A12, A13, A20, A32, A42, and A52.

As reported by iTech Post, "The Samsung Galaxy A52 model was released at the same time as the A72. Following the release of A52, the company launched A52s, as an upgraded version of the A52 with a newer processor, a few months later in select regions."

It is speculated that the company will launch the successors to the Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72. Some tech enthusiasts suspect that a possible Samsung Galaxy A33 will also be launched while there are still some that do not.

On Twitter, Evan Blass has shared a series of renders of the phone, and Appuals has published the device's specifications.

According to The Verge, the A33 rendered is rumored to be priced at around $417 and includes a "6.4-inch 90Hz 1080p OLED display, a 5,000mAh battery, and four rear cameras".

Another speculation about the Samsung Galaxy A33 is the new processor it comes with. The device is rumored to have the unannounced octa-core CPU processor, Samsung's Exynos 1280.

As reported, the Samsung Galaxy A33 will also have "a main 48-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide with a 120-degree field of view, a 5-megapixel macro, a 2-megapixel portrait lens, and a 13-megapixel selfie camera."

In addition to an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, an under-display fingerprint sensor, 6GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage will also be featured in the device. It reportedly does not include a charging brick in the box.

According to Counterpoint Research, the sixth best-selling phone in the world in 2021 is Samsung's A12. It was also the only Samsung phone to appear in the top ten list along with iPhone devices and Xiaomi products.

Samsung Awesome Galaxy A Event

Samsung's Awesome Galaxy A Event will be aired on the company's official website and on Samsung's YouTube channel today (March 17).

Samsung Unpacked, which took place last month, saw the introduction of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra, as well as the Galaxy S22.

Samsung's Galaxy event, which will take place this month, will be the company's second event of the year.
