SpaceX Starlink for RV finally launches, bringing the satellite internet service of Elon Musk to a new range of enthusiasts.
Starlink for RVs is also giving its customers a no-waiting option, so they could start installing the satellite dish on their vehicles — just in time for the upcoming summer adventures.
SpaceX Starlink for RV
As per a news story by The Verge, the satellite internet service of SpaceX, Starlink, used to offer connectivity to its users in the specific location of their customers.
However, while Starlink continues to expand its constellation of internet satellites orbiting the Earth, thanks to the countless launches of SpaceX, it recently got to introduce its all-new "portability" option.
Starlink's new feature lets users experience the supposedly low latency internet service even if they bring their satellite dish to other locations other than their registered address.
However, the portability offering comes with a catch: users away from their home addresses get deprioritized from the service. As a result, the connection might have some issues when they try to bring their satellite dish to other places.
But this time, Starlink is introducing its all-new internet service specifically meant for RV enthusiasts, officially allowing them to fit a satellite dish into their vehicle.
The Starlink for RV service no longer requires its customer to have a home address wherein they get prioritized there. It only suits as obviously these folks should be able to get from one place to another.

Starlink for RV: How It Works
The arrival of the official Starlink service for RV owners has been long-awaited.
According to a recent report by Business Insider, folks with RVs have been going the extra mile to stuff a Starlink satellite on their vans to give them internet access on the roads or in their remote destinations.
While Starlink is now available for RVs, its initial launch has a few limitations.
The latest press release says that the internet service would be inactive when the RV is in motion as it hits the road. Instead, it is only limited to an "as needed basis at any destination where Starlink provides active coverage."
The owner of SpaceX, Musk, further added that the antenna of Starlink for EVs is "too big for cars."
Starlink for RV Price: How To Get It ASAP
Starlink asks its customers to pay a $25 monthly fee for satellite relocation. This is on top of the $110 cost per month. Ergo, the RV service starts at $135 every month.
However, The Verge notes an option to get Starlink for RV without any waiting time, but it could go as high as $599, which still does not include the $135 monthly internet cost.
