Wait no more! GameStop PS5 stock is finally coming this May 28 after a drought of the Sony gaming console in the retailer for the whole month.
The upcoming bundle is available to all its PowerUp Rewards Pro members as long as the limited supplies last.
The next-generation Sony PlayStation still grapples with relatively low supply, which lags with its outpouring demand.
It did not help that the supply chain mess persists, affecting gaming consoles and other tech products like electric vehicles. Not to mention that the massive demand for the PS5 also lured in scalpers who never fail to empty the hottest restock out there.
That said, PS5 consoles have become a rare sighting in retail stores. And its restocks have become a rare event with limited supplies to rival other fans of the Sony gaming machine.
GameStop PS5 Restock May 28
The giant retailer GameStop, known nowadays for its PS5 restocks, has confirmed its first-ever replenishment of the Sony console for May, as per a news story by Video Games Chronicle.
GameStop offers the next-gen PlayStation to all its local stores in the United States for PowerUp Rewards Pro Members.
According to a recent report by GameSpot, the nearing restock excludes a few locations like Guam, Alaska, and Hawaii. But it should be available for its local retail stores in the rest of the U.S.
GameStop PS5 Restock Bundle: What To Expect
The restock is in the form of two bundles, including the PS5 Digital and the standard version of PS5.
It is worth noting that the giant gaming retailer has kept mum about including its upcoming bundle. So, whatever games are paired with the gaming console should surprise its customers until they are already in line before the store opens on Saturday.
Despite the unconfirmed bundle inclusions, GameSpot bared how much the two bundles could likely cost its buyers. The standard PS5 bundle should retail roughly around $600, whereas the Digital counterpart sells to the tune of $500.
The iconic gaming retailer is fond of selling PS5 restocks in a bundle, which includes their chosen games.
However, there was a time that the bundle carried more exciting stuff like PS Plus subscriptions, fancy controllers, and even Gift Cards.
PS5 Stocks
The CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Jim Ryan, has recently said they plan to ramp up PS5 production in 2022. However, he notes that "COVID-rated uncertainties persist, specifically in the impact that ongoing lockdowns in Shanghai and Beijing might have."
However, the pronouncements of Ryan during the PlayStation business briefing last May 26 hopefully suggest that we are getting more restocks in the coming months.
