Disney's theme parks are almost always included in the itineraries of tourists heading to countries that do have. One of those countries is none other than Japan.
What sets this Asian nation apart from the other countries that have a Disney theme park is none other than Tokyo DisneySea. Needless to say, this particular theme park has rides that you also cannot find in other Disney parks. Here are five of them that you should check out when you get the chance:
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
First on the list is none other than 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, which is based on a film of the same name that Disney released in 1954. Both the ride and the film are based on the novel by Jules Verne.
Located in the Mysterious Island section of Tokyo DisneySea, the ride began operating in 2001. Guests board a submarine that takes them on a tour of the undersea world, which is actually Atlantis.
Nemo & Friends SeaRider
Given the name of Tokyo DisneySea, it is probably no surprise that you can find a "Finding Nemo" attraction in this particular theme park. Nemo & Friends SeaRider is actually a simulation ride based not only on "Finding Nemo" but also its sequel, "Finding Dory."
Officially opening in 2017, Nemo & Friends SeaRider takes guests to explore the marine world from the point of view of both Nemo and Dory. Other characters from both animated films also make appearances throughout the ride.
Raging Spirits
If you are looking for a thrill ride in Tokyo DisneySea, Raging Spirits definitely fits the bill.
Themed after an ancient ceremonial site, this high-speed roller coaster first began operating in 2005 and can be found in the River Delta section of the theme park. It is also the only ride in Tokyo DisneySea that features an inversion in the form of a single vertical loop.

Scuttle's Scooters
No list of Tokyo DisneySea will ever be complete without including any of the rides based on "The Little Mermaid." One of those rides is known as Scuttle's Scooters.
One of the rides that operation when Tokyo DisneySea opened its doors to the public, Scuttle's Scooters is based on the Caterpillar-style ride where guests ride cars that can rotate a full 180 degrees.
Sindbad's Storybook Voyage
If you are familiar with the story of Sindbad the Sailor, then you will surely want to check out the Sindbad's Storybook Voyage ride in Tokyo DisneySea. It will also be right up your alley if you enjoy dark rides.
Guests will board a boat that will take you through Sindbad's story. While this attraction first opened in 2001, the original theme and storyline frightened children and the ride therefore became unpopular with guests. Changes were made and the current version of the ride eventually opened in 2007.
