Hogwarts Legacy Exclusive Content Details
According to a report from Gameranx, people familiar with Avalanche's plans with Hogwarts Legacy revealed that the company will reveal "exclusive content" at the CCXP in Brazil on Dec. 3.
The sources did not clarify what they meant with "exclusive content," as it could mean content exclusive to certain gaming platforms or content unique to the game. With Avalanche drip-feeding gamers with various teasers and updates, it is difficult to make assumptions or predictions on what the sources meant with "exclusive content."
Games News 24's article could help shed some light on the topic. According to the publication's report, Hogwarts Legacy's producer, Jimmie Nelson, will present new content exclusive to the game. A tweet from Hogwarts Legacy News, seemingly confirms Nelson's attendance.
Regardless of what the sources mean with "exclusive content," the gaming community will eagerly wait for what Avalanche will reveal during CCXP.
Hogwarts Legacy Detail Recap
What we do know for sure is that players can't participate in Quidditch games, the wizarding world's equivalent to soccer, though they could obtain thestrals without pre-ordering as part of the in-game rewards.
Additionally, players can link their "Harry Potter" fan club account with their WB Games account to import their Hogwarts House and their wands into Hogwarts Legacy.
The game will also allow players to visit all four of Hogwart's common rooms once they've been sorted in-game, with them reflecting their house's nature. Gryffindor's remains the same as it was in the movies, while Slytherin's comes with a dark ambiance and a creepy atmosphere - perfect for cloak-and-dagger wizards and witches. Hupplepuff's has a more homey and woodland feel, while Ravenclaw's looks like an aviary.
Avalanche also revealed a gameplay trailer and showcase to the gaming community on Nov. 12, with the game's director, Alen Tew, its senior environment artist, Boston Madsen, Community Manager, Chandler Wood, and Community Host James "XpectoGO" Whitehead appearing in it.
Avalanche has also been busy publishing teasers on Hogwarts Legacy's official Twitter account, with snippets featuring the game's combat system, the Grand Staircase during different times, and NPC introductions that players would meet and know in-game.
Hogwarts Legacy will launch on Feb. 10, 2023, for current-gen and last-gen gaming consoles as well as PC. The game is now available for pre-ordering on the Playstation Store, Xbox Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam for $59.99.
The game is available for the Nintendo Switch, but Avalanche has yet to announce a release date for the game's Nintendo Switch port.
