However, one popular feature of the "Harry Potter" story will be missing. The game's official FAQ page has confirmed that Quidditch will be absent from the game, as per IGN.

"Quidditch is not playable in Hogwarts Legacy," reads the official FAQ.
While "Harry Potter" fans may be disappointed with the announcement, there's still a treat for players, as they can still enjoy flying on brooms. The game's FAQ announced that there will broom flights feature in the game.
"However, broom flight for traversal and broom race challenges are part of the game," says the official FAQ.
Players can explore certain locations surrounding the Hogwarts Castle using their broomsticks.
For those unfamiliar, Quidditch is a Wizarding World sport played by wizards, and witches using broomsticks, as per GameRant.
The sport has a significant part in Harry Potter books, films, and video games. Thus, the news that it will not be included in the Hogwarts Legacy comes as a surprise to fans.
As of writing, the game's developer did not explain the reason why Quidditch has been excluded in Hogwarts Legacy.

As a matter of fact, upcoming players of Hogwarts Legacy can pre-order a thestral as part of the bonuses.
GameRant also mentioned that players might be able to obtain thestrals without pre-ordering as part of the in-game rewards. This, however, remains to be confirmed.
Last week, the WizardingWorld.com announced that players will be able to import their Hogwarts House, and their wands into the Hogwarts Legacy. This will be possible by linking their "Harry Potter" fan club account with their WB Games account.
Since its initial announcement in 2020, the game's developer has been very active in working on its promotional efforts.
In fact, fans were given an "extensive Hogwarts Legacy gameplay presentations," according to GameRant. Moreover, fans were able to enjoy a sneak peek on the expected inclusions of the game's Collector's Edition.
The game was originally given a 2021 release date but it was later moved to 2022. Hogwarts Legacy's release date was delayed again for the second time. Now, it is scheduled for release on February 10, 2023.
