For Fortnite players out there, you might be happy to know that there's a new emote you can purchase. You can now bring out your inner metalhead and jam to a segment of Metallica's 1986 single, "Master of Puppets."
Go Metal with Your Friends
You won't have to take a huge chunk out of your money to get the emote, since it's only 500 V-Bucks. Maybe you won't even need to buy it at all if one of your teammates already has it. Three other players can join in to complete the group even if they haven't bought it themselves.
The person who initiates the emote will be playing the guitar and the lead as they do a Hetfield impression, as mentioned in Gamespot. The others who intend to join will be playing the drums, the second guitar, and the bass.
If you feel like you've heard it before, maybe it's because you've seen "Stranger Things" and heard the iconic Eddie Munson play it. Nothing says metal like playing solo while killer Upside Down bats are swirling around you accompanied by red lightning.
The trailer posted by Fortnite on Twitter shows players rocking it out in a garage along with laser lights and pyro effects. That oughta hype up the emote.
Collaborations in Fortnite
Fortnite has made many collaborations over the years. There are those that are epic enough to be remembered. Here are some of the best collaborations they did.
League of Legends
It seems odd at first to see a game collaborate with a different game, but the outcome was better than everyone expected. Fortnite released an Arcane-themed set which cost 1,800 V-Bucks. For that, you'll get a Vi and Jinx skin.
'Stranger Things'
For "Stranger Things" fans, it was an especially cool release for Fortnite when they revealed Jim Hopper and the Demogorgon, which cost 3,200 V-Bucks. Players might even see more of the show once Netflix releases its last season.
'Rick and Morty'
Seeing Grandpa Rick and Mecha Morty on Fortnite became a core memory for diehard "Rick and Morty" fans. Rick was acquired using the Battle Pass, according to Sportskeeda. The Mecha Morty Bundle was available in the shop for 2,200 V-Bucks. They also release a Mr. Meeseeks skin after that.
'Star Wars'
The sci-fi movie series is among the biggest franchises out there, and it only makes sense that Fortnite collaborates with them. Several characters are available in the game including Han Solo, Leia, and Darth Vader.
The game also celebrates the franchise every year with a Battle Royale event. Of course, the date for the event is May 4th. If you're a "Star Wars" fan, you're probably smiling at that fact.
'DC'
If there are collaborations, it won't be long before Batman makes an appearance. Of course, it is not limited to the knight in shining black armor. There are about 21 skins in the game that are from the DC Universe, which includes Joker and Harley Quinn.
