There are several factors to a video game that draws in players. Most would say that it's the gameplay that matters most, others would say that it's the story. Of course, there are also gamers who put importance on graphics above all, so here are video games with breathtaking graphics that would impress you.
Red Dead Redemption 2
This action-adventure game is the perfect way to appreciate the hard work that developers pour into their games. As you play even further, you'll notice so many details and realize that those were there by design. You can even make it better with mods if you wish.
Of course, that will require more power from your device. No matter. You can just admire the game as is. There's so much detail in it that Arthur, the main character, and his horse would even leave prints on the mud, snow, and other terrains.
Cyberpunk 2077
The release of the game wasn't exactly smooth, as mentioned by GFinity. In fact, it mostly faced backlash because of the number of bugs it has, but even then, the graphics of the game was already amazing. Besides, the developers have already fixed all its issues since then.
When you find yourself in a high place, you can see Night City in all its glory, and each district actually has different cityscapes. Some are urban jungles, some are desolate, and some look like they've been worn down by time. Every district is designed accordingly.
God of War (2018)
When it comes to the previous God of War games, the environment is usually much more menacing and ominous, given Kratos' nature then. The 2018 release puts the character in a more whimsical setting and a different mythology.
It's not just the scenery but the characters as well. You see so much detail on the armor, weapons, and even the foes you'll come across. You'll also go through different landscapes such as snowy mountains and forests with autumn and spring leaves.
Stray
If you're into the cyberpunk/post-apocalyptic theme, Stray is one of the games you ought to try out. The game is set in a forgotten city that is inhabited by robots. It's always nighttime there so they put so much detail into the lighting of all the buildings and neon signs.
You will be met with neon signs and robots with cuboid monitors as heads. The place is kind of a dump, but it is intended to be that way since it is, after all, a forgotten world where humans no longer exist. Despite that, the developers managed to make it beautiful still.

Horizon Forbidden West
If you like the first game, Horizon Zero Dawn, the sequel will probably astonish you. It still has the same theme of a world overtaken by nature while mechanical creatures still roam around, as mentioned in Game Rant.
You can roam around for a while without getting bored because there's so much to discover, and it also gives us a peek at how beautiful it can be when nature and technology coexist in our surroundings, which may be what's ahead of us in the real world.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey
The game lets you experience what life must've been like in ancient Greece, minus the cult and advanced technology from an ancient civilization, of course. Ancient Greece had one of the most advanced civilizations in both knowledge and architecture.
With that being said, it's easy to fantasize about what it may have looked like back then, and Assassin's Creed Odyssey will take you there. It has a vast map so you'll have plenty of places to explore all while setting your sights on its buildings and massive statues.
