Elon Musk Still Wants To Fight Mark Zuckerberg Despite Calls To ‘Move On’

Mark Zuckerberg has had enough of Elon Musk's delaying tactics.

The Meta CEO recently announced that the Musk v. Zuck cage match is off and that people should move on from it due to Musk's evasiveness for a final fight date.

Despite Zuckerberg's calls to move on, however, Musk has yet to give up on fighting Zuckerberg; he is goading Zuckerberg to fight him.

The End of The Road

Zuckerberg seems to have no more patience for Musk's antics. According to a report from Gizmodo, the Meta CEO posted on Threads that he is calling off the Musk v. Zuck fight due to the former's evasiveness and lack of progress in planning it.

He mentioned in his post that Musk is not serious about fighting him and that it's time to move on due to his lack of agency about setting the fight's date. He also pointed out that Musk not only failed to confirm a fight date but also revealed he needed surgery once Zuck said he was ready to fight.

However, there is some hope for the fight to go on. Zuckerberg said that if Musk does get serious about a real date and official event, he would know how to reach him and talk about it. In the meantime, Zuckerberg aims to focus on competing with "people who take [MMA] seriously."

Despite Zuckerberg's announcement, though, Musk has yet to give up on the idea and has been goading him to fight. The owner of X.com, formerly known as Twitter, called Zuckerberg a "chicken" after Zuckerberg called off the fight.

Musk doubled down on his goading with him saying that Zuckerberg can't eat at Chic-fil-A because it would be considered Cannibalism. For those unaware, Chick-fil-A is a popular American fast-food chain known for its chicken sandwiches.

Musk also revealed his conversation with Zuckerberg, with him asking if they could have a practice fight in the Meta CEO's place as he has not been practicing much. However, Zuckerberg refused, saying that Musk should train on his own if he wants to have a real MMA fight.

Zuckerberg also said he doesn't want to keep hyping something that will never happen. As such, Musk must decide on a final fight date soon or move on from the idea.

Will The Fight Even Happen?

With Zuckerberg calling off the Musk v. Zuck fight (for now,) it is highly unlikely that the bout between the two big tech CEOs will happen anytime soon if it will at all. Musk is quite an impulsive guy, and as such, he could be propelled by shame to set a final fight date between him and Zuckerberg in the future.

It is unknown if the fight will still happen in Italy, as Musk previously claimed. However, what is clear is that the fight's proceeds will definitely go to charities for veterans once it goes through.
