Amazon's comic book app, Comixology, announced its end of service with its collection set to merge with Kindle's in December.
In a supporting document, Amazon said the Comixology app will not be available on iOS, Android, and Fire OS starting Dec. 4, Monday.
All of the app's content will remain available on the web via Amazon's reading tab or at the Kindle E-reader app. Kindle is available for Android and Apple iOS, while pre-installed for Fire OS devices.
Reading progress will be automatically synced between the two apps, although readers must download the books again for Kindle.
The Comixology Unlimited subscription will also be transferred to Kindle.
How to Filter Comixology Contents in Kindle Library?
Amazon's Kindle library is vastly different from Comixology's massive content display, possibly confusing many people transitioning to the app.
To filter down the displayed titles, choose the "Comics & Manga" filter to adjust the library to only show comics, graphic novels, and manga.
The opposite can be done when selecting the "Books" filter to hide Comixology titles in the library.
The hidden books feature is also available on Kindle.
Just make sure to use the same Amazon login for both Comixology and Kindle apps to access previously bought titles.

Comixology History with Amazon
Amazon acquired the rights for Comixology in 2013 with the removal of comic purchases on the app directly being the only change in nearly a decade.
The e-commerce platform, however, changed the app's ecosystem last year after incorporating Comixology's digital marketplace directly into Kindle's.
Several digital groups criticized the redesign as being more difficult to navigate, having no clear labels for each genre, and sponsored ads being fronted at the top of search results.
Toy products would also often pop up while searching popular titles in the app.
The app's redesigns remain up until today.
