YouTube shared that it will continue to stream Coachella exclusively this year and will feature six livestream stages, starting on April 12.
As the music festival's partner, the platform introduced a multiview feature that will allow fans to watch up to four live performances at once.
YouTube to Stream Coachella Live Performances
In a press release, YouTube revealed that the format will remain the same from last year with six livestream stages. Fans can choose from these stages depending on their interests.
"The ability to jump from stage to stage, including Sonora during Weekend 1 over to Yuma for Weekend 2, allows fans to curate their ultimate Coachella experience without missing any of the action on the ground," YouTube announced.
In addition, for the first time ever, YouTube will launch its multiview for Coachella 2024. The big screen production will allow fans to livestream up to four stages on their TVs at once. The viewers will have the freedom to listen to the audio of their choice. Hence, having two favorite artists playing at the same time won't be a problem anymore.
How to Watch Coachella 2024 on YouTube for Free
The popular music festival will start on April 12 at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time or 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Fans can watch for free from their smartphones, TVs, and computers.
Interested viewers can simply head to the official Coachella YouTube channel and set their notifications to get an alert for the official livestream set times. In addition, there will also be special editorial content from the artists on YouTube Music.
The livestream lineup will be replayed from each day once the night's final set until the livestream returns the next day, giving fans a chance to never miss a thing from the festival.
