Apple has tons of deals that you can go through right now if you want to save up to $200 in costs. The only reason why they are cheaper is because they are refurbished, and it's a very insignificant factor considering the price cut it comes with.

The first deal you can look into is Apple's refurbished 13-inch MacBook Air with the M3 chip. The original cost was $1,099 and is now sold at $929. This effectively lets you save $170. Of course, you will also have your choice of colors.

There's Space Gray, Silver, Starlight, and Midnight. All of the products were released in March 2024, so they are new even though they are refurbished. The laptop features an LED-backlit display with IPS technology, so you can expect great display quality.

The native resolution is 2650 x 1664 at 244 pixels per inch, and it comes with a 1080p FaceTime HD Camera. The laptop runs on an 8-core CPU and an 8-core GPU, which allows for smoother operations on demanding apps and software.

In addition to that, it features an 8GB unified memory and 256GB SSD. With ports, the device has two Thunderbolt ports and USB 4 ports as well. If you feel like the 13.6-inch screen is too small, you can always opt for the 15-inch screen.

With it also being on sale, you can purchase the refurbished product for $1,099, which is down from the original price of $1,299 allowing you to save $200. It almost has the same specs as the previous one except for a few improvements.

Instead of the 2650 x 1664 resolution in the 13-inch model, you will instead get a 2880 x 1864 native resolution at 224 pixels per inch. It will also be running on a 10-core GPU instead of 8-core, so the additional $170 might very well be worth it.

You can look for deals on Apple's Certified Refurbished shopping page.

What Does Refurbished Mean?

In case you don't know yet, refurbished products are devices that have been returned by customers due to minor defects, which are then fixed by the company to make it just like new again. While it might sound similar to a second-hand device, it's actually not.

The manufacturer, in this case, Apple, will replace or repair the defective parts with genuine Apple components, as well as do a thorough cleaning. It will then go through full functional testing to make sure it runs like it's factory-new.

In some cases, Apple would even install a more recent operating system, and then it will be repackaged in a brand new box with all the accessories and cables that were previously included. Aside from possibly a few minor dents or scratches, you will be getting essentially a brand-new product.
