Bully

Rockstar Games has released many great hits during its early years following the success of the first Grand Theft Auto games. One of the releases during that period was the school-themed, punk-style Bully.

With the game celebrating its 20^th anniversary soon, a full remake featuring Rockstar's current technology and world-building will surely make more people enjoy this brutal yet poignant story.

May Payne Series

The Max Payne series is one of those games that is sure to garner awards and recognition if it ever received a remake or a reboot.

Brutal and humorous, the original series gives people craving for more Metal Gear Solid games another new franchise to explore.

Thankfully, Remedy Entertainment, the same studio that brought us the Alan Wake series and Control, indicates that it is already working on a planned reboot for the two Max Payne games, set to release soon.

Shadow of the Colossus

With all the hype around Elden Ring and other Souls-like games, there is no better time to bring back the beloved game up to modern standards.

While the original 2005 title still holds after nearly twenty years, giving it the same level of improvement as The Last Guardian and maybe even kickstarting the game into a franchise.

American McGee's Alice

Want to see a twisted version of the classic "Alice in Wonderland" tale? Then, American McGee's Alice and Alice: Madness Returns is a great pick for those who have just finished Little Nightmares.

With how the second game has ended, a reboot/remake into the franchise could elevate the PlayStation 3 game into more sequels in the future.

Unfortunately, the game's creator American McGee said there might be no future for the series anymore after repeated failed attempts for game publishers to fund the two planned sequels, Alice: Asylum and Alice: Otherlands.

Metal Slug Franchise

Following the adrenaline-pumping success of the 1993 DOOM, there was a period where games like the Metal Slug franchise dominated gaming stores from the late '90s and early '2000s.

Seeing how id Software fully reinvented the dungeon crawler gameplay of DOOM in 2016, there is no reason why a notable franchise like Metal Slug would not also appeal to many players looking for more revivals of old PlayStation titles.
