Upcoming Netflix TV Show Premieres, Seasons for the Second Half of 2024

We are now at the latter half of the year, and it seems like time has gone by so fast. On the bright side, that also means that a lot of long-awaited shows and seasons are set to arrive. Here are the anticipated releases you don't want to miss between July 2024 to December 2024.

Serving as a sequel to the "Karate Kid" movies, the show already had an established fanbase to appeal to, effectively making it a successful show that has lasted for six seasons. This, however, will be the last one, and it will be split into three parts. The first part will be released this July 18th, while the other two parts will arrive in November and in 2025.

2. 'The Umbrella Academy' Season 4

It has been a chaotic three seasons since the show was released, and we have seen the group travel in time, participate in a dance battle, and even end the world in the last few years. This time around, it will be the last chance for the group to make things right as season 4 will be the last season of the show, which will be released on August 8th.

3. 'Emily in Paris' Season 4

The rom-com starring Lily Collins is a good mix of drama and comedy that has fans binging the entire show in a weekend. Set to be released on August 15th, the show will continue with Emily navigating through her messy love life involving Gabriel, as well as his girlfriend and her friend Camille, who found out she was pregnant.

4. 'Nobody Wants This' Premiere

Another rom-com set to be released on September 26th, the show will follow the story of an agnostic woman, who is played by "The Good Place" actress Kristen Bell, and a rabbi played by "The O.C." actor Adam Brody, who falls in love with each other. We already know that Bell is a good fit for comedy, so it would be interesting to see how this turns out.

A lot of people already know who Lara Croft is due to the popular video game franchise Tomb Raider, which the show is based on. The series, which will be released on October 10th, will be set between Shadow of the Tomb Raider and the more recent titles. In the animated series, Lara Croft will be voiced by "Captain America: The First Avenger" actress Hayley Atwell.

6. 'Arcane' Season 2

The story of Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, and many others is set to continue in the second and the last season of "Arcane," which already has a release window of November. We can expect a more action-packed series now that tensions are high and a new major character is likely to emerge (or reemerge). Based on the teasers released, a three-year wait might very well be worth it.

7. 'The Recruit' Season 2

Espionage seems cool and all, but Owen, who is played by Noah Centineo immediately finds out that the life of a CIA agent is much harder than he anticipated. He has already gone through so much in the first season, which ended in him being kidnapped. With the released window of 2024, it would be interesting to see where his captors take him or who they even are.
