Anthropic Launches Claude Android App

In a press release, Anthropic revealed that the Android app version for Claude is now available. The AI chatbot is capable of working across devices from the web, iOS, and Android due to its multi-platform support.

Users can take pictures or upload files to access the real-time image analysis feature. In addition, a real-time language translation is added to help users from different parts of the world.

The app is powered by Anthropic's most powerful model, Claude 3.5 Sonnet. Users who are currently subscribed to Pro and Team plans can still resume their chatbot activities across any device.

Anthropic Joins AI Chatbot Apps in Expansion

Last May, Anthropic released its first mobile app for iOS users. The app allowed users to sync their conversations from the web and vice versa, without losing their chat history.

Other AI companies like OpenAI have already started to expand ChatGPT's reach to users. ChatGPT is widely available in both Android and iOS app forms. In addition, it is also well-integrated through the Apple Intelligence.

Claude also boasted high score marks last March and June in comparison to other existing AI chatbots. Regardless, other companies are continuing to update their models due to its high consumer demand.

Anthropic users can subscribe to the Team Plan if they seek to have more conversations with the chatbot. It offers access to Claude 3 model families like Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku for only $30 per user monthly.
