Apple has gradually shownn the public what the upcoming iOS 18 has to offer through beta testing. It has now been reported that the most recent beta is the final one the public will see before the iOS 18's official launch.

What this may point to is that the public launch of the iOS 18 may soon take place. Reports claim that the launch is expected to take place this fall and will coincide with the release of the iPhone 16. The iPhone 16 is reportedly set for release this September. 

The latest beta from Apple features the seventh version of the iOS 18 as part of its software testing phase. If reports are accurate, Apple is now transitioning to a public launch in the near future.  

Apple's iOS 18 Beta 7 is the 'Final' Version, Says Analyst

Users shared the news about recent drop from the Apple Beta Software Program, introducing the latest versions of its operating systems under testing, which includes the iOS 18 beta 7. It was later shared by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman that he was "told" that the latest iOS 18 beta is now Apple's "final" release until the arrival of its latest hardware.

However, 9to5Mac argued that there are blurred lines in Gurman's post as it could mean two things. First off, the renowned analyst may be saying that this would be the final version released until the iPhone 16 arrives. However, it can also be argued that what Gurman is trying to say is that there might be future iOS 18 beta versions coming, but it would no longer have new features to add.

iOS 18 Public Launch Coming Alongside iPhone 16

As the seventh beta release is already said to be the final version, it is being speculated that it will be the one set for public release. The release of the iOS 18 will reportedly be part of the upcoming Apple event slated for September or sometime during the fall season. As previously mentioned, it is being reported that the release of the iOS 18 will coincide with the debut of the iPhone 16.  

Apple is known for launching an "RC" version of its operating systems at the same time as its iPhone. In this case, the iOS 18 RC may have specific features for the iPhone 16.

What to Expect from the iOS 18 OS?

The highly anticipated "biggest update" from Apple, iOS 18, was introduced earlier this year via the annual Worldwide Developers' Conference (WWDC) event. It is expected the bring multiple new features that users can soon enjoy. One of the biggest announcements made for iOS 18 involves Apply Intelligence, which the Cupertino-based company said will be an on-device experience. 

Last July, Apple opened its beta software program for developers and the public who want to try out iOS 18 and other operating systems like the macOS 15 Sequoia, iPadOS 18, and watchOS 11. Through this, users has had an early look at the new features for the smartphone operating system, which gave the world a taste of the new Siri, interface, customization options, and more. 

However, Apple Intelligence remains in limited availability, and those who do not have eligible devices have not been able to access it. This will be the case as well once it releases.
