Cristiano Ronaldo Launches YouTube Channel, Breaks a Record Along the Way

Cristiano Ronaldo fans, time to log into YouTube. The soccer superstar, who captains both Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr and the Portugal national team, has officially opened a YouTube channel.

Yes, you read that right. And as of press time, the channel already has 13.4 million subscribers.

The YouTube channel, as of writing, already has multiple videos despite the fact that it has not be around for long. Each video uploaded allows fans to get to know the Al Nassr captain more, particularly his preferences, his family, and his thoughts and opinions.

One video, for example, bears the title "This is how I manage the pressure of being Cristiano." His most viewed video as of press time, on the other hand, is called "Discover EVERYTHING about us. Who will win?" and features his parther, Spanish model Georgina Rodriguez.

It should be noted that each video uploaded on the channel thus far has at least 1.3 million views.

Record-Breaking Channel

Ronaldo's YouTube channel may only be in existence for a couple of hours at this point, but believe it or not, it has already broken a record.

According to a report, Ronaldo's YouTube channel broke records when it reached one million subscribers in under 90 minutes. This is faster than any other channel has been able to accomplish.

This feat may not come as a surprise, especially when you consider that Ronaldo is the most followed person on social media. Variety notes in its own report that the soccer superstar has 917 million followers across various social media platforms.

Given the launch of his new YouTube channel, this number will just grow and grow in the coming days and weeks.
