Apple's ‘It’s Glowtime’ Event is Annnounced, Apple Intelligence to Get Spotlight

Another one of Apple's showcases is coming, and it is set to be called "It's Glowtime." The event is set to officially introduce the latest set of iPhones from the tech giant.

However, the event is not meant to just focus on the iPhone 16 as it is also expected to shine the spotlight on Apple Intelligence, as well as other products from the Cupertino-based company.

The event is scheduled to take place in the morning and only a select number of media have been invited to attend.

its fall event, which will be livestreamed worldwide on September 9. The iPhone 16 is set to be announced during the event, and the public will get their first look of the four different versions of the iPhone 16.

It is expected that Apple will also debut a new SoC for its iPhone 16 series, the A18 Bionic chips. It can be recalled that the iPhone 15's base model featured the A16, while the Pro models featured the A17.

Another product that is expected to be officially announced are the AirPods 4, which is expected to be a more budget-friendly version of the wearable.

Official launch dates are also expected to be announced for the iOS 18, as well as the macOS Sequoia.

Apple Intelligence to Get a Spotlight

Apple's "It's Glowtime" even will not only focus on its hardware releases, but it will also shine the spotlight on Apple Intelligence, according to reports. It is said that the A18 chips have the capacity to handle the generative AI better than previous releases due to their neural engines.

It is also expected that new Apple Intelligence features improved animation and Siri integration, and these will also be introduced at the event.

All About Apple Intelligence and Its Gen AI

The previous WWDC introduced the world to Apple Intelligence, which has generatied a massive buzz. It offers a wide range of new experiences, such as the capacity to create new content easily, sort through notifications, capture audio transcriptions of calls, and more. Apple Intelligence will be available for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Some users are already seeing Apple Intelligence's rollout on the iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS 15 beta versions, with Apple giving users a taste of its first generative AI system. However, it has been revealed that there will be delays, with reports claiming that it will be made available later than the original expectations it.

A main focus for the Apple Intelligence is the on-device AI experience, which will allow users to access it even with a limited internet connection, reducing lags and delays for its response.
