Dr DisRespect, whose real name is Herschel "Guy" Beahm IV, made a comeback on YouTube after his Twitch controversy and recent YouTube suspension. The livestream reached more than 1.750 million views when it ended.

This is seen as a "redemption" stream for Beahm, and clips shared by fans online show him addressing the issues he was entangled with all these years. Dr DisRespect clarified his stance, asserting his innocence from all the issues and accusations, including the text incidents with a minor.

Beahm also revealed that he will reapply for a YouTube Partnership this September 25 in the hopes of monetizing his channel once again.

Dr DisResPect's Controversy Timeline: From 2020 to Now

The beginning of the pandemic was not good for Dr DisRespect, and this was when his career took a dive after an unknown permanent ban occurred on his long-time platform, Twitch. However, before this, Beahm also faced a short ban on Twitch in 2019.

Here is a quick look at the bans and controversies that Dr DisRespect experienced in recent years, and how these have caused him to leave Twitch and transfer to YouTube instead.

Twitch Ban and His Long Hiatus

In 2020, Beahm faced a Twitch ban. However, it was never confirmed what the real reason behind the ban was for Dr DisRespect's case.

In 2022, Beahm and Twitch settled the lawsuit the creator filed, and reports of his comeback on the platform surfaced.

YouTube Comeback and New Deals

Although a brief hiatus was taken by the streamer, he went on over to YouTube for his game streams, which began in August 2020, and the influencer also shared his content over at Facebook Gaming. However, Beahm also saw his fair share of scrutiny as his Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 account was suspended after he was caught being disrespectful in its proximity chat.

During this time, Dr DisRespect thrived for several years and saw massive deals come his way, including the launch of a new NFT game from his game development company, Midnight Society. Additionally, Beahm was also invited to join Kick in 2023, but he requested a $50 million payout following xQc's $100 million offer from the platform.

Another Ban for Dr DisRespect

Another issue dragged Dr DisRespect's name, career, and reputation to the ground when two anonymous former Twitch employees revealed the reason behind his 2020 ban, saying that this was because of inappropriate conversations with a minor.

This led to significant implications, including a YouTube demonetization and suspension, Midnight Society cutting ties with him despite being a co-founder. Other game ties were severed due to the allegations and he likewise lost many deals and partnerships.
