Faster iPhone Charging? Aukey's Omnia-Frez Technology

These fans on Aukey's MagFusion Pro series are powered by its latest "Omnia-Frez" technology, which can reduce charging temperatures to as much as 20°C (68°F) and promises safer charging. Using the iPhone 15 Pro as an example, Aukey said that its charging was reduced by as much as 26 minutes because of this new cooling technology as it also uses the Qi2 charging standard.

Aukey also claimed that this technology can help preserve the iPhone's battery health and prolong the device's power cell lifespan.

Wireless Charging and Apple iPhone MagSafes

Wireless charging has been around for almost a decade now, and this practical feature has been popularized by Android smartphones, which first adopted the Qi wireless charging standard. This was introduced by the Wireless Power Consortium to the world. Later on, other manufacturers followed their lead, including Apple's MagSafe.

Magnetic charging has been around from Apple for quite some time, and it is a known technology that was available on MacBooks before the USB-C change. This has since evolved to offer significant experiences that forego the need for wires, and it can also preserve the charging port's lifespan as it can also be used for data transfers.

Wireless chargers rely on magnets installed on a device's back case, focusing on inductive charging, which relies on low-powered magnets to bring batteries juice whenever needed.
