Computex 2015: Sneak Preview of ICT Future Technologies

Different electronics companies and hardware manufacturers converge in Computex 2015 held in Taipei, Taiwan to show off their targets and goals on computer technologies, their systems and hardware. These tech giants have made several announcements as to the latest chip innovations for PCs and other mobile platforms.

The said Taiwanese event highlights the features and specs of desktop and laptop hybrids, tablets, phone-controlled devices, and even wearable technologies.

The IT tradeshow's major announcements

Microsoft has shared its newest operating system for notebooks, desktops, hybrids and tablets. Windows 10 is set to be officially released on July 29.

Intel has launched its latest chip hardware and major platform initiatives like those of wireless device charging and sixth-generation Core processors.

The IT exhibition has always been a turf for Asus every year. This is where it keeps its users and followers abreast of its innovations on PCs, monitors, notebooks, mobiles, gaming hardware, and headphones.

Different brands are making their way to develop 'wearables' and make the wearers feel that everything seems to be within their reach.

According to Daniel Matte, U.S. based analyst, the smart watches are the next big things in the consumer technology after the launch and development of tablets. "Vendors, other than Apple, are improving their designs to be more fashionable and of higher quality," he explained.

Computex 2015 is also continuously holding conferences, forums, and meetings which tackle a wide variety of topics on digital business possibilities and trends.

What to expect for Computex 2015 event in the coming days

Innovations on mobile phones, gadgets, computers, and their accessories are still yet to be unleashed. Some digital signage, 'compuforum' and procurement meetings as well as an international press conference are expected to keep the participants busy for the next three days. On Sunday, June 7, a golf tournament will be held to conclude the event.

The world's second largest computer exhibition and Asia's biggest IT tradeshow, Computex runs from June 2 to 6, 2015 in Taipei, Taiwan.
