When Warner Bros.' "Batman: Arkham Knight" was first released for the PC platform, it was riddled with several bugs that made the game unplayable. Poor gaming frame rates despite the users' powerful gaming rigs, the game crashing every so often, and poor optimization have made the game's first launched back in June nothing short of a train wreck.
Consequentially, Warner Bros. had to pull it out from Steam until such issues were resolved. Fast forward a couple of months and the company is at it again when it relaunched Arkham Knight on Oct. 28 back into the PC platform. However, all is still not how it should be, and the game is still suffering from poor optimizations and frame rate drops. As such, the company is now offering refunds despite its attempts to bring "Batman: Arkham Knight" to the way it was supposed to be.
"We are very sorry that many of our customers continue to be unhappy with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. We worked hard to get the game to live up to the standard you deserve but understand that many of you are still experiencing issues," reads the latest news from the game's Steam page.
As a result, Warner Bros. is allowing gamers to fully refund "Batman: Arkham Knight" on PC regardless of how long they have played the game. Furthermore, gamers can also return the Season Pass along with the main game should they want to have their money back. However, it's important to note that they will only have until 2015 to refund the product.
On the other hand, those who want to keep on playing the game won't be left out of patches and fixes along the way. Warner Bros. is going to continue to address the several issues that came with the relaunch and fixes them. However, there's a sour note at the end of the update. Although the company will still support and address the issues, they will, however, talk to the gamers about what they won't be able to fix.
