Four months after the bug-riddled, rage-inducing PC version of "Batman: Arkham Knight," it looks like Warners Bros is now ready for another take. Rocksteady's fourth installment to the critically acclaimed franchise will now return to Steam on Oct. 28 and is set to bring a better overall experience with fixes for issues that came during the title's launch.
At exactly 10 A.M. PDT, on Wednesday, gamers will be able to obtain the re-released version of "Batman: Arkham Knight" from Steam. At the same time, Rocksteady Games will also be releasing a patch with content that has already come out for console so that the PC version can also keep up. However, it is important to note that console-exclusive content would not come along with the patch.
By the time "Batman: Arkham Knight" hits release date once again, gamers will then have access to the games' several features including the fun Photo Mode to take badass, momentous pictures, the Big Head Mode, the Batman: Arkham Asylum Batman Skin, and character selection in combat AR Challenges. Season Pass holders will also be able to access all the downloadable content released since the launching of the titles such as new "AR Challenges," "Crime Fighter Challenge Packs," "Batmobile Race Tracks," "Arkham Episodes Story Packs" and "Skins & Batmobiles."
While it is still too early to tell as to whether the re-release of "Batman: Arkham Knight" will bring the expected experience, or at least justice to what it was supposed to be when it first launched, at least gamers will still be able to play the version that would play much better than what the game first offered when it was released in Steam on July 23 this year.
"Batman: Arkham Knight" is the fourth main installment in the "Batman: Arkham" series. It is set a year after the events of "Batman: Arkham City," and the main plot follows Scarecrow's attack with the help of the enigmatic Arkham Knight.
