Gal Gadot Wraps Up 'Wonder Woman' Filming; Actress To Begin Shooting Activities For 'Justice League'

The highly anticipated movie "Wonder Woman" appears to be heading toward the last leg of production work. The movie's lead star, Gal Gadot, has recently announced on social media that she has already finished filming activities for the said project. The actress is now slated to start shooting scenes for the upcoming movie "Justice League: Part One."

Gadot took to Instagram to post a short video that featured a quick shot of herself bringing down the slate on a blank clapperboard. The actress also wrote a lengthy message on the said social media site to reveal that she has wrapped up shooting for the upcoming film "Wonder Woman," Collider reports. She also thanked the movie's cast and crew members, including the said film's director Patty Jenkins. Gadot even described the project as an "amazing, exciting, dreamy, happy and fascinating experience" that she "will cherish ... forever."

The actress plays the titular role of the DC superheroine Wonder Woman in the said film. DC and movie fans would also know that Gadot first appeared as the Amazonian princess Diana, also known as Wonder Woman, in the film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." Her appearance as the said DC character was even considered as one of the highlights in the previously released film.

After "Wonder Woman," Gadot is set to reprise her DC character in Zack Snyder's film "Justice League: Part One." Production work for the said movie has already started in April, according to the same report. Gadot is now expected to join filming activities for Snyder's latest DC superhero project. Apart from Gadot, movie fans will also see Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck reprise their superhero roles Superman and Batman, respectively, in the said film.

Affleck has also recently signed on as executive producer for "Justice League: Part One," Deadline reports. The actor's decision to become a part of the upcoming film's showrunner team was said to be Affleck's show of support for director Snyder. The filmmaker and Affleck previously worked on the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie.

Meanwhile, "Wonder Woman" will hit the movie theaters on June 2, 2017. On the other hand, "Justice League: Part One" has been scheduled for release on Nov. 17, 2017.
