The CEO and creator of the game, Jonas Martensson, stated that it is also a great opportunity to introduce the game globally. "NetEase understand our long-term vision for Minecraft and support Mojang's ideals, so we're delighted to have them on board. We look forward to welcoming China's builders and adventurers to the world of Minecraft," Martensson said.

On the other hand, NetEase CEO and founder William Ding also expressed his excitement to introduce the game to the Chinese audiences. Ding added that they hope the team up of Mojang with their company would provide the largest audience in the world.
