Sci-Fi Game Star Wars Battlefront 2 Confirmed By Game Publisher EA

The force will be with the Star Wars gamers again as the game developers of the hit sci-fi game, "Star Wars: Battlefront" confirmed its second sequel. There are also rumors that the game developers are making big changes in the gameplay such as having a single player mode.

According to the game publisher, EA, also known as Electronic Arts, confirmed that they are working for the Battlefront sequel, News Everyday reported. Patrick Soderlund, the EA executive stated the upcoming game has concept changes. Soderlund revealed it will feature a single player gameplay mode.

"The one thing we got criticized for was the lack of a single-player campaign. It was a conscious decision I made due to time and being able to launch the game side-by-side with the movie that came out to get the strongest possible impact," the EA chief stated.

Star Wars: Battlefront was a huge hit game even though the game does not feature single player mode. Now, Soderlund teases the game fans that it will be feature on the second sequel this time.

Many fans are also wondering how the game developers will incorporate the single-story campaign mode in the game. However, speculations are that EA may link it to the soon-to-be-released Star Wars movie story, but Blake Jorgensen, the company CFO already cut on providing clues regarding the game.

According to Tech Advisor, Star Wars: Battlefront game has sold over 14 million copies around the world. The fact that the game earned immensely, EA decided to develop a sequel for the popular sci-fi game.

An official release date of the game sequel was not yet confirmed. Star Wars Battlefront 2 was also not included on the games listed under the 2017 fiscal year, which is marked to end in March 2017.

Star Wars Battlefront is an action shooter game developed by EA DICE and is based on the hit sci-fi movie Star Wars franchise. Since it was released on November 2015, the game became a huge success for EA.
