Xbox One, 360 Games With Gold July 2016: Latest Info On 'The Banner Saga 2,' 'Rainbow Six Vegas 2' & 'Warriors Orochi 3'

This year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) opened the doors to a large number of upcoming games. But of course, fans would still love to get hold of past titles -- most especially if they are free. Well, Microsoft is believed to release a great line-up of Xbox One and 360 games. Although the tech giant has yet to confirm the official titles, a recent leak suggest the inclusion of "The Banner Saga 2," "Rainbow Six Vegas 2" and "Warriors Orochi 3."

According to Gamepur, an insider by the name of Ekim revealed on a well-known forum called NeoGaf the great news. He said that Microsoft plans to release a total of four free Xbox One and 360 games come July. Three of these are namely, "The Banner Saga 2," "Rainbow Six Vegas" and "Warriors Orochi 3."

First, "The Banner Saga 2" is a title that has been released a couple of months ago. It falls under the category of tactical RPG (that is, role playing game) and was originally intended for both OS X and PC. As of this writing, it is yet to be available on Xbox One (let alone PlayStation 4). Hence its arrival to Mircosoft's console will be deemed a premiere.

Second on the list is the classic title "Rainbow Six Vegas 2" and is rumored to hit Xbox 360 Gold. It first went live on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 way back in 2008. There is no doubt that its arrival will surely bring nostalgia to its fanbase. Moreover, as suggested by Ekim, the game's seventh installment in the series will come across all platforms in July.

And lastly is the "Warriors Orochi 3." It was first released in Japan around 2011 and was only made available to the west after a year or so. The hack-and-slash game was developed by the titular Tecmo Koei and Omega Force.

The Christian Post, on other hand, reports that aside from the leaked Xbox One and 360 games, other titles are expected to arrive as well. One of these is the ever-popular, cult-classic "Halo Wars." The first-person shooter game proved to be a massive hit shortly after its release in 2009.
