iPhone 6S, Samsung Galaxy S6 And Nexus 6P: Battle Of The 2015 Flagships

2015 was a good year for flagship phones. The public saw the release of the Google Nexus 6P from Huawei, the Galaxy S6 from Samsung and Apple's iPhone 6S. Each unit had different specs that were better than the others. However, each flagship also had its own special perks.

Among the three, Automobile is partial to the Huawei Google Nexus 6P. In terms of design,the publication states the 6P looks better than Galaxy S6 and the iPhone 6S. It has a 2K AMOLED display. However, there are other aspects where the other two units are ahead of the P6.

Taking the devices spec's from NDTV Gadgets, Samsung and Apple's flagship units are tough competitors and even reign over the 6P in some aspects.

At 159.30 x 77.80 x 7.30mm all around and weighing in at 178 grams, the 6P is the biggest and heaviest among the three devices. The smallest is the 6S at only 138.30 x 67.10 x 7.10mm and weighs 143 grams. The S6 on the other hand is 142.10 x 70.10 x 7.00mm all around and 132 grams heavy.

In terms of battery life, the Nexus 6P will last the longest as it sports a battery of 3450mAh. The Samsung S6 and iPhone 6S follow with 2600mAh and 1715mAh, respectively. The 6P also has the largest screen, as it is 5.70 inches. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S6 is 5.10 inches and the Apple device is 4.70 inches.

Both the Huawei 6P and the Samsing Galaxy S6 hasve 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the iPhone 6S has 2GB of RAM and starts at 16 GB for internal storage.

Samsung dominates in the camera-front, with a 16 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera. The Nexus 6P and iPhone 6S follow respectively with 12.3 megapixel and 12 megapixel rear cameras, as well as 8 and 5 megapixel front cameras.
