2016 Macbook Pro Rumor Round-Up: November Release, Kaby Lake Processor & Type-C Port All Discussed

The fourth quarter of 2016 is shaping up to be a haven for tech enthusiasts. Naturally, Apple's 2016 MacBook Pro is part of the roster and is coming ready and well equipped.

As reported by Game N Guide, one of the best things about the 2016 MacBook Pro is what lies beneath the surface. That is, the newest Skylake Processor chip and an AMD graphics processing unit. It is also expected to sport an OLED touch bar.

It should be noted, however, that others are speculating the installment of the seventh generation of Intel Kaby Lake processors instead. This is coming because, reportedly, Apple has not renewed its contract for the Skylake processors. Either way, the 2016 MacBook Pro is definitely arriving to the market with power.

Another thing about the upcoming gadget is that it is expected to be thinner and lighter than any other Apple item that came before it, including the MacBook Air. This is so because Apple has taken to adopting metal injection molds for the body.

One less-talked about feature is the possible retainment of a USB Type-C Port, which first appeared in last year's MacBook. The 2016 MacBook Pro will have a Type-C Port because it is a relatively smaller port and allows for faster battery charging and data transfers. Mobile & Apps adds that the USB Type-C port negates the need for a Type-A or Type-B port, as it covers the functionalities of both.

Another innovation for Apple is the inclusion of Siri to its notebook item. As the newest MacOS will be installed in the 2016 MacBook Pro, which will bring Apple's virtual assistant to its line of notebooks..

The 2016 MacBook Pro is expected to arrive to the market within the last quarter of the year, possible sometime in November. For now, Apple is likely focusing on the release of the iPhone 7 and the iPad Mini 5.
